It all started with an IKEA table.

Our journey began in the back of a manga cafe in Melbourne, Australia. Our first "campus" in 2006 was a storeroom barely enough for a single LACK table, four stools, and a whiteboard.

That tiny storeroom evolved into a full floor in the heart of Melbourne’s CBD, teaching everyone from Apple geniuses to news anchors.

Then, the world changed.

When the pandemic pushed our classrooms online, we discovered we weren't just teaching people in downtown Melbourne anymore. We were reaching students in the suburbs, the rural outbacks, and even introverts who found they learned best in their pyjamas with a cat on their lap.

If we could bridge the distance across the Australian continent, we could bridge it anywhere.

And that brings us to Singapura.

Japanese Singapore was born from the success of our original community in Australia. We recognised similar synergy in Singapore — sophisticated, multicultural, and a pursuit of excellence.
